Meteors and Panckes!
GC1D1XE “Fire in the Sky” Evening camping event full of meteor showers, and maybe a night cache!
Lodging is available in Fairplay, CO if you don’t want to camp.
Saturday, August 8th Evening
Roll out of bed the next morning for:
GC1D50B “Silver-Dollar Pancake Breakfast”
Sunday, August 9th 7:30 am-9 am
Same campground as “Fire in the Sky” event
These events are happening this weekend in Colorado. Easy access to campgrounds no matter where you are coming from. There are a lot of family-friendly caches, (more being posted later this week-( you could have a big caching day with no lamp-posts) as well as 4x4 runs/ caches, in the near vicinity. It does not get very hot during the day up here, and evening are a cool 50-60 degrees. Other activates in the Fairplay area include fishing, 4-wheeling, dirt-biking, hiking, river rafting. Hope you can come play!
